'Superman's Pockets' exhibition

A book and exhibition by EPUK member Tim Foster documenting the lives of “real life superheroes” will be launched on December 10th.

“Superman’s Pockets” is the culmination of Foster’s eighteen month exploration of what it means to be a hero in a post 9/11 world, following the lives of nine British men who have a ‘superhero’ alter ego.

The limited edition, spandex covered book features six of the nine ‘superheroes’ that Foster captured on film; namely, ‘Maths Man’, ‘Captain Beany’ ‘Dougy’, ‘Mr Methane’, ‘Angle-Grinder Man’ and ‘Supertranny’.

‘Superman’s Pockets’ runs from Dec 10th-16th, No 1, Piazza, Covent Garden, London WC1 from 10 am to 7pm daily, with free admission. The exhibition website can be seen here.
