Circus of Horrors performer Dan Blackner – better known as Captain Dan, the Demon Dwarf – appeared in The Circus of Horrors at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

While rehearsing for the show he had – don’t ask how – an accident with the Henry the vacuum cleaner and a tube of superglue. Long story short, Dan and Henry ended up in the A&E department of the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

The Scottish Daily Record asked me to get some shots to run with the story: “something we can publish”.

Dan was very helpful and good-humoured about the incident. The show got some valuable publicity as well.
