Blue Sky Thinking

“Bored of the 9-5? Want to let yourself go on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure? Then Expedia.co.uk, the UK’s leading online travel agent, could have the perfect job for you”.

So far, so good…

“We’re looking for an independent and intrepid traveller…to photograph blue skies from around the world”

Now before you start putting together your twenty best blue skies (“would it be too daring to include one with a cloud in it ?”), the selection process is somewhat simpler than this. Specifically, tick a box rating your photography skills from 1-10 (to be safe, go for 10), your availability over the next few months (try “free”), and your contact details.

And in a final post-modernist twist, the PR company running the “Blue Sky” competition is….Red.

What is EPUK?

EPUK is an email group for professional editorial photographers who want to talk business. We don’t do techie stuff or in-crowd gossip. We don’t talk cameras or computers. What we talk about are the nuts and bolts of being in business - like copyright, licensing, fees and insurance.
