Rolling photographers gather plenty of Moss

Here at EPUK Towers, we were pleasantly surprised to hear the the News of The World was upping its rate for stock pictures.

A weekend or so, the News of The World breathlessly splashed with “exclusive” pictures of Kate Moss “fresh out of rehab”. The pictures, bylined “Brennan/Murphy/Goldstein” (they should start their own law firm) showed the model dressed in “evening gown, drop earrings and with her hair swept up” at dinner in New York.

Only one problem: Kate Moss hasn’t been to New York since coming out of rehab. So it must have been an honest mistake by the trio of snappers ?

Er, apparently not. A spokesman for the News of the World said: “There is absolutely no doubt that these are pictures of Kate Moss”. So maybe our globetrotting trio simply forgot what city they were in that week ? NoW spokesman: “No”.

That seems only to leave the possibility that the NoW were somehow duped into paying ten grand – not often you see that on your remittance slip – for a stock picture. NoW accountants and management are said to be “investigating”. Hopefully Messrs Brennan, Murphy and Goldstein have spent the money wisely – maybe they can now afford a camera each instead of having to share ?
