Adobe launches 'free' Photoshop

Image processing pioneer Adobe has made another bold move by offering free online software that allows photographers to edit and store images reports Amateur Photographer.

Photoshop Express allows users to store up to 2GB of image data online and edit their images while preserving the original versions, says the company.

Images can be viewed in an online gallery, hosted by Adobe.

‘In a few easy clicks Photoshop Express empowers anyone to make standard edits, such as removing blemishes and red-eye, converting to b&w, cropping and resizing and much more.’

The public beta version of Adobe Photoshop Express is available by visiting www.photoshop.com/express

What is EPUK?

EPUK is an email group for professional editorial photographers who want to talk business. We don’t do techie stuff or in-crowd gossip. We don’t talk cameras or computers. What we talk about are the nuts and bolts of being in business - like copyright, licensing, fees and insurance.
