The Association of Photographers has published the results of a eight month long survey into how photographers charge for their investment in digital equipment.
The survey, the results of which were complied from a questionnaire sent to AOP members and a seminar shows that two-thirds of photographers set their prices according to the time spent on it.
The survey also shows that 68% of respondents work mainly for either low volume/high quality or high volume/moderately quick turnaround clients, with only 7% saying that their main work was for private art or portrait commissions.
The full results can be seen in a series of PDF’s from the AOP Digital website.
