Daily Mail Deputy Picture Editor Elliot Wagland has resigned to join Barcroft Media as Head of Pictures.

Wagland, 32, joins after three years as Paul Silva’s number two, and was formerly on the Mirror picture desk.

“Elliot is one of Fleet Street’s finest operators and we are delighted he is joining our team” said Barcroft Media MD Sam Barcroft. “This appointment underlines Barcroft Media’s commitment to providing the very best in exclusive content and customer service.”

London-based international photo-assignment agency Barcroft was established by photographer and BPPA committee member Sam Barcroft and supplies photographs, video and features to clients worldwide.
