Pepsi 'copied' Carlos Clarke: claim

The estate of photographer Bob Carlos Clarke claim that Pepsi copied one of his images and used it to promote their brand reports the BJP.

The estate of photographer Bob Carlos Clarke claim that Pepsi copied one of his images and used it to promote their brand reports the BJP.

Clarke’s estate is accusing the drinks giant of appropriating ‘The Lick/Mouth’ and is pursuing the matter with its legal team.

However Pepsi say The “Put Pepsi to the taste” campaign was created by advertising agency KLP Euro RSCG and was designed to show consumer reaction to tasting the drink.

A representative for Clarke’s estate said: ‘We are gathering evidence … and are willing to fight all the way over this infringement.’
