Police Delete Images

Police at Heathrow Airport are accused of deleting photographers images during the recent security clampdown the Press Gazette reports.

Daily Mirror photographer Mike Moore was taking photographs at the airport when he was confronted by police. He says he was forced to delete images off his compact flash card after being told by that taking photographs was forbidden.

Another photographer, who is said to work for a news agency, is also believed to have had his photographs deleted under duress.

Jeff Moore, chair of the BPPA complains that police are using the current security alert to opress photographers and members of the press.
