Streaker snapped chasing the bill

Two landscape photographers got more than they bargained for in chilly Newcastle-upon-Tyne when a policeman flashed across their viewfinders, hotly pursued by a streaker.

Two landscape photographers got more than they bargained for in chilly Newcastle-upon-Tyne when a policeman flashed across their viewfinders, hotly pursued by a streaker.

According to The Metro, the officer was trying to apprehend the streaker after members of the public complained he was jogging around the park naked.

But the jogger turned tables on the officer, chasing him instead.

Snapper Carlos Pequenino told reporters: “It was a nice day so we decided to go and get some photos of trees, plants and flowers”.

Fellow photographer Brian Clark added: “We only took the photographs [of the streaker] to show our friends because no one would have believed us”.

What is EPUK?

EPUK is an email group for professional editorial photographers who want to talk business. We don’t do techie stuff or in-crowd gossip. We don’t talk cameras or computers. What we talk about are the nuts and bolts of being in business - like copyright, licensing, fees and insurance.
