Criminal Records Bureau checks for photographers working with models could become compulsory reports SkyNews.
An inquiry headed by Baroness Kingsmill into the ‘Size Zero’ model phenomenon has concluded that tighter regulations on those working with young people in the fashion industry be imposed.
The report recommends checks on agents, designers and photographers. It also suggests models should be banned from smoking and subject to random drug tests backstage – and those under the age of 16 should be prevented from taking the catwalk altogether.
