Damages Over 'Too Thin' Pic

Hollywood star Kate Hudson has won damages from a magazine that made her look too thin in a photograph reports The Scotsman . The actress who starred in Almost Famous sued UK Enquirer magazine after it published a picture with the caption “Goldie Tells Kate: Eat Something!”.

Hudson, who is the daughter of Goldie Hawn proved via a lawyer that the picture was published to suggest that she had “recklessly and foolishly endangered her health by deliberately starving herself”.

The Judge found in favor of the star after her lawyers demonstrated that the magazine had previously published similar pictures describing her as looking “stunning” and “great”.

UK Enquirer has agreed to pay compensation and issue and apology.
