Photo-behemoth Getty has chalked up another kill with the buy up of WireImage for a reported $200m dollars according to the HollywoodReporter.
The deal obliges Getty to acquire WireImage’s parent MediaVast which in turn owns FilmMagic and Contour Photos. Unusually the deal is for cash only rather than cash and stock options.
WireImage’s founding photographers and key executives have signed long-term deals to remain with the company.EPUK is discussing:
