The smile recognition shutter function, which is available on eight-mega pixel DSC-T70 and DSC-T200 cyber-shot cameras, will not take a shot unless the subject is smiling.

The technology, which works by recognizing signs of happiness, including wrinkles around the eyes and parted lips, will also allow the snapper to focus lock one face in a group portrait.
