Mail Victory Over 'Bald' Elton Pic

Staff at the Daily Mail were celebrating this week after winning a court battle with singer Elton John over a photograph which the popstar claimed invaded his right of privacy.

The picture which showed Elton with a baseball cap pulled down over his head apparently showed ’ that he is completely bald now apart from a pair of sideburns’.

The singer well known for his love of wigs and flamboyant clothes sought to show that the photograph breached his right to privacy as it was taken near his home. But the case was rejected by the court on the basis that it did not convey any private information.
