A photographer is accused of defrauding the Police Service of Northern Ireland out of more than £120,000 in overtime and mileage claims, reports the BBC.
Fergus Grant, 40, a civilian member of the PSNI in Belfast, faces a total of eight charges including having counterfeit currency, submitting fraudulent tax returns worth more than £33,000 and stealing equipment worth £13,000.
Other charges against him include copyright infringements by making and distributing 1,449 counterfeit DVDs between January 2001 and December 2006.
Mr Grant was also accused of making or supplying articles for use in frauds. This allegedly involved vehicle insurance certificates, bank statements, car park tickets, certificates of secondary education, degree certificates and an electricity bill.
