ProPhoto: Get paid to post

The ProPhoto Community (formerly Rob Galbraith’s forums) is offering posters up to US$100 a year for making posts in its forums.

Posters will earn 10cents a post, up to a maximum of $25 per quarter. The terms of the offer state that the posts must “add value” to the discussions, and that there must be a minimum of 10 posts a quarter.

Participating subscribers must also pay an upfront fee of one cent in advance, but there seem to be remarkably few other obligations. However, judging from the byline photos on those who have posted in the same thread, it might just be statutory to have glasses and facial hair.

What is EPUK?

EPUK is an email group for professional editorial photographers who want to talk business. We don’t do techie stuff or in-crowd gossip. We don’t talk cameras or computers. What we talk about are the nuts and bolts of being in business - like copyright, licensing, fees and insurance.
