Rugby Photograph of the Year

£1500 and two tickets to Dubai are on offer for the winner of the International Rugby Board Rugby Photograph of the Year Competition.

Photographers should submit one 15×12 inches print (we think maybe the judges have poor eyesight) of a rugby-related photograph , with a caption on the back, which should include the photographer’s details, and date taken, to Paul Morgan, Editor, Rugby World Magazine, Room 2318, IPC Media, Stamford Street, London., SE1 9LS no later than noon on Thursday 31 August. The photograph must have been taken between 1 January 2006 and 30 July 2006.

A shortlist of six will be selected by the judging panel with the winner receiving a trophy and a cheque for £1500, at the IRB Awards in November 2006. All shortlisted entrants must consent to their photograph being published in the IRB Yearbook and at the annual IRB awards in November, and in addition those shortlisted consent to publication as part of subsequent publicity for the photography awards.

What is EPUK?

EPUK is an email group for professional editorial photographers who want to talk business. We don’t do techie stuff or in-crowd gossip. We don’t talk cameras or computers. What we talk about are the nuts and bolts of being in business - like copyright, licensing, fees and insurance.
