Scottish Press Photography Awards 2007

Entries can now be submitted online for the 2007 First ScotRail Press Photography Awards.

Entries can now be submitted online for the 2007 First ScotRail Press Photography Awards.

Categories include Photographer of the Year, Picture Essay of the Year, Features Photographer of the Year, Sports Photographer of the Year, Local Photographer of the Year, Young Photographer of the Year with a total prize fund of almost £5,000.

All pics submitted must have been taken during 2007 – although not necessarily published. The closing date for entries is Wed 16 January 2008.

Now in its third year following a 2005 ‘resurrection’, the awards celebrate the best photography in the thriving Scottish newspaper market with last year’s overall award won by PA’s David Cheskin.
