PA’s David Cheskin has won the First Scotrail Scottish Press Photographer of the Year award, becoming only the second photographer to win in consecutive years in the competition’s 30 year history.
Chairman of the judges, former Fleet Street picture editor Ken Lennox said, “Yet again David has impressed us with his sheer versatility. He has a good eye for a great picture.”
This year’s competition, the second where First Scotrail has been the sponsor, attracted 3000 entries from 50 photographers throughout Scotland.
