US Forces in Iraq have been holding an Associated Press photographer in prison since April without trial according to the Seattle Post Intelligencer.
An Army spokesman said Bilal Hussein, an Iraqi citizen, was being held for “imperative reasons of security” under UN resolutions.
AP say that the US suspect Hussein of being an informer to insurgent forces and have appealed to them to bring him to trial so he can plead his case.
